Sports VPN help and billing questions

What does a VPN do?

A VPN routes supported traffic through a VPN server. An encrypted VPN connection helps protect that traffic between your device and the server on networks you do not trust. HTTPS still matters beyond the VPN server.

A VPN does not make you anonymous to sites where you log in. It does not prevent phishing or malware. Browser extensions should not be treated as whole-device protection.

Is Sports VPN a streaming subscription?

No. Sports VPN does not provide sports broadcasts, streaming subscriptions or permission to access restricted content. It is not sold as a way to bypass a service's location or access rules. Follow local law and the terms of any service you use.

Which devices can I use?

See our device support and setup guide before buying. The iPhone app and Chrome extension have different scopes. Android is not currently available to install from Google Play; do not use unofficial downloads.

What should I do if it will not connect?

  1. Check that your internet connection works without the VPN. On hotel or airport Wi-Fi, complete the network sign-in page first.
  2. Check the account and subscription status. Installing the app alone does not activate a subscription.
  3. Restart the app or extension and check for an official update. If another VPN is running, disconnect it before retrying.
  4. Try another available server. If the network does not allow VPN connections, use a trusted alternative network.
  5. If it still fails, contact support with your device, app version, time of the problem and the error message. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or VPN keys.

A connection icon is not a promise that every app or website will work. If the connection drops, do not assume traffic is still protected.

How are plans billed?

Website plans are subscriptions. The selected billing period and total amount are shown at checkout. A monthly equivalent on a longer plan is not a monthly payment option: the billing-period total is charged upfront. Subscriptions renew unless you turn off auto-renewal before the next charge.

Check the checkout total, currency and renewal terms before paying. App Store purchases are billed by Apple and may have different prices.

How do I cancel?

For a website subscription, sign in, open Account and choose Manage billing or Cancel Auto Renewal. Follow the confirmation steps and check that renewal is off. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not automatically refund the unused part of the current paid period.

For a subscription billed by Apple, manage cancellation through your Apple subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If you cannot find your purchase, contact support before paying again.

Can I request a refund?

Refunds are reviewed, not guaranteed. Our current terms normally exclude requests made 10 days or more after payment, except in exceptional circumstances such as a service interruption. App Store purchases follow the store's refund process. Read the Terms of Service for the full conditions.

How can I get help?

Use our Contact / Support page. Include the email used for the purchase, the platform that billed you and a description of the issue. Never include passwords, card details or VPN keys.
